Nac/hut Report

Nac/Hut Report is a polish-italian music project, created by Brigitte Roussel (BR; voice, noises, electronics, images) and Li/ese/Li (guitar, noises, electronics). First time we met in 2007 in Cracow and soon we started to think about making music together. We launched work on the hard substance of sound barely in 2009, after we got a clear vision of the direction we want to take. That year we released our first EP "1000/Double/Difference/Error" and a split cassette with the american musican RAUH. Just after the EP was finished, we started to work on the album and we we decided to spread it trought Internet, using the blogs. We had the idea of releasing an album trought the blog after we got in contact with Wes (author of pukeskywalker.blogspot) who later became our producer. The album will be released in febrary/march 2010.
Our music starts firstly from noise collages,loop and electronic treatments of pure noise, something that could remaind french musiquË concrete. In a second phase pop tunes are just put on noise, we search for melodies fitting to noise, not the opposite... the result could often sounds chaotical because we have to "deconstruct" the melodies in order to put them in the context of a track.Sometimes we just take pieces of vocal melodies from differnt songs and we put them in one single track. Our work is not really connected to avantgarde but even not to traditional pop-rock composition. we like to stay in this border zone...in this way we're more similar to art brut and outsider art.
